Vermiculite based organic fertilizers are functional in sport field fertilizers, agriculture, construction and horticulture fertilizers and used for many other industrial applications.

Vermiculite can also be named as laminar that looks like crude form of mica. Vermiculite is heated swiftly in temperature of 900 to 1000 centigrade; the water in the interlayer of vermiculite, transforms into steam and the mineral stratums of it exfoliates and parts into numerous worm shaped bits. 

Vermiculite forms into similar bits, after it is expanded much more than its original volume when exposed to high temperatures.
